5 Bonds of Human Relationships
The Five Bonds are:
- Ruler to ruled,
- Father to son,
- Husband to wife,
- Elder brother to younger brother,
- Friend to friend.
Specific duties were prescribed to each of the participants in these sets of relationships. Such duties are also extended to the dead, where the living stand as sons to their deceased family.
The only relationship where respect for elders isn't stressed was the friend to friend relationship, where mutual equal respect is emphasised instead. All these duties take the practical form of prescribed rituals, for instance wedding and death rituals.

What Do We Believe?
We belive that life is eternal, that through the Dao (Eastern meaning) / The Way (Western meaning) that we can have a continuation of this life in the next.
How is this done?
The Dao / The Way is the method by which you can get from this life to the next without loss of your integrity or countenance.
As we live this life we give very little thought to who we will be when we die, we are very involved in our work, society, wealth, or status.
None of these can be taken with you.
So who are you when you die?
Since you are not your job, name, reputation, wealth or any other society values, you become like a little babe, having to be taught everything anew.
Come and learn how your life can be a "Heaven on Earth" that at your death you won't even know you have died.
